There are more than 2 million more people unemployed now than when President Obama took office. There are 12 million more people needing food stamps since President Obama took office. The National Debt has skyrocketed to more than $16 trillion since President Obama took office. If the government had not removed food and fuel prices from the index of inflation (HA, I bet you didn’t know that), we would know that inflation is not only real, it is rising at an alarming rate. It only takes a trip to the grocery store or a gas station to prove it.
With all of these facts right in front of every American, why is it possible that the election is even close? Forgive me for stating the obvious. Overall, news reporting in this country is blatantly geared toward hiding the President’s failures in order to help him win reelection. The main stream media will not challenge President Obama on any issue nor will they present the fact that our economy is failing in any way other than to blame President Bush. Many people take the MSM at their word that he needs four more years to really fix things.
We understand how this President has fixed things. He has made sure that the game was “fixed” for labor unions in the auto bailout. He “fixed” the game to make sure that so called green energy companies could line up at the trough of government subsidies funded by taxpayer dollars regardless that many regulators warned these companies would fail as in Solyndra. He is also “fixing” the game to make sure that only union government workers will remain in the middle class of income earners by using Federal agencies to regulate private business out of existence.
We know we will never get most of the media to report the truth. We are, however, fighting back by educating voters on the real facts behind the election. Using the most sophisticated technology available today, we are engaging millions through the Internet and social media in addition to our grassroots efforts in swing States like Florida, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and all across America.
The government did not “build this”, you did. You see, we knew what needed to be done but it was you as a supporter of TheTeaParty.net and the Tea Party movement that gave the resources (time and money) to make an idea a reality. There are no words that can convey the gratitude we feel for the trust you have placed in us. The TEA Party team is working tirelessly to keep earning your trust.
We are coming down to the wire in this election. Voters are going to decide if America continues to rob our children and grandchildren of the American dream we grew up believing in while burying their future in a mountain of debt, or, if we are going to begin the journey back to our founding principles outlined in the Constitution of limited government and a free market society where anyone with the will and effort can succeed. The key to winning is to keep pushing the truth the media ignores.
I still believe in the American Dream and I still believe in America. There is no way to know with certainty the final outcome on 06 November, but, on 07 November I will be able to look in the eyes of those folks around me and tell them that I did everything I could to keep America the land of opportunity. Our choice is simple…do you want the freedom to choose in your life, or, do you want the government to enforce their decisions upon you? I am hopeful that most of you will choose freedom. This is the most important election in our collective lifetime and we will have only one chance to get it right. It has been said many times before but “failure is not an option”.
I would love to report that we have everything we need to finish the job but the realities of modern politics is that it takes an incredible amount of funding to win. Because funding is an issue, we are prioritizing and doing as much as possible with what we are able to raise. We will do everything our resources allow us to do.
Our funding comes from ordinary people willing to give what they can afford so we can pool that money together to fight unions, billionaires and special interest groups who can simply write a check. I know times are tough and not everyone is able to contribute and no one should feel badly if they cannot contribute.
